Although classified as a short par 4, this hole is stroke index 1 , positioning is crucial to play this hole well. The fairway slopes both left and right,a hogsback, kicking the ball to the right and possible danger in the tees or left into the water hazard. A tight tree lined hole, with a raised green, with a single bunker to the right front corner. A good tee shot will result in a straight forward wedge shot to the green. A conservative tee shot, will mean a long second down a tight tree lined alley, with the fairway opening up near the green. The green slopes from back to front and also near the edges, slopes away down the banks around the green.
