Hole 14 – Helmington Hollow

Image DescriptionA good drive, following the line towards the farm building out the back of the green will make the hole a very easy par 4. The ridge across the fairway gathers the tee shots to the left. Long hitters can carry it but mortals may be better advised to play to the top of the hill and have a longer shot to the green. The green is pear shaped long and narrow, with bunkers left and right, raised towards the back. An approach from the right can result in the ball running to the left and off the green. A big green protected by small mounds, the green actually slopes very steeply form the back of the green.
